Privacy Policy

1. Summary
Collector's Book is a 100% local app, with no accounts and no servers of our own. Your data is yours: everything you enter in the app is stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit or sell personal data of any kind.
2. Data we do NOT collect
- We do not ask for or store your name, email, phone number or any other personal data.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- There are no ads and no advertising SDKs.
- We do not access your contacts, location or microphone.
3. Local storage
All the content you create in the app — firearms inventory, ammunition, air guns, documents, shooting sessions, maintenance logs — is stored exclusively in your device's memory. If you delete the app without making a backup, that data is permanently lost.
4. Photos and documents
Photos and documents you attach to your items are copied into the app's private folder on your device and never leave it, unless you manually export or share them.
5. Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous device identifier to validate your purchase; it does not receive your name or any data from your inventory. 6. Biometric authentication
The Face ID / fingerprint lock is optional and is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The app only receives a "yes" or "no" as the authentication result: it never sees, stores or transmits your biometric data.
7. Notifications
The app uses local notifications only (for example, maintenance reminders), which are scheduled and fired on your own device. We do not use remote push notifications.
8. Backups
Backups (manual or automatic) are files generated on your device and remain under your exclusive control. You decide whether to keep, move, share or delete them. They are never uploaded to any server of ours.
9. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, including Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection (Ley 25.326 de Protección de Datos Personales). Since the app does not collect personal data, no data processing covered by that law takes place; nevertheless, we acknowledge the rights it grants to data subjects.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be available inside the app and on this page, with its update date.
